The Dashboard
The Dashboard is your first stop each morning: a quick read on whether mail is flowing and what InboxAgent has been doing with it.
The time period
The cards cover a recent window, not all time. Use the 7d / 30d / 90d buttons above them to change it; 30 days is the default, and we remember your choice, so if you prefer 7 days you’ll see 7 days next time. Under most cards you’ll see how the number compares with the previous window of the same length, so you can tell whether things are moving.
All-time totals aren’t shown here on purpose: a number that only ever grows can’t tell you whether this week went well. For billing-period figures, see Usage.
The six cards
- Inboxes Monitored: how many mailboxes are enabled. If any connection is broken you’ll see a warning here; click through to Settings to reconnect. (This one is a right-now number, so it has no period comparison.)
- Emails Processed: every message handled in the period. Opens the full Inbox activity list.
- Leads Identified: emails InboxAgent recognized as sales leads. Underneath, N sent to your CRM tells you how many actually reached it.
- Tickets Identified: emails InboxAgent recognized as support requests, with N opened in your helpdesk underneath.
- Needs Your Review: emails waiting on a person. This is the one that is genuinely a to-do list. Opens the live queue on Manual review.
- No Action Needed: newsletters, auto-replies, spam and internal mail that were deliberately ignored. Opens Inbox activity filtered to just those.
Every card opens the emails behind its number. Leads Identified and Tickets Identified open Inbox activity scoped to exactly what they counted — including the ones that never reached your CRM, because those are still leads InboxAgent found. Once there, the outcome tabs answer the follow-up question: of those leads, how many reached the CRM, how many are waiting on you, how many had nowhere to go.
Why “identified” and not “created”
Because the two are different, and only one of them is about InboxAgent. Identified is the work the product did: it read the email and recognized a lead. Sent to your CRM is what happened next, which depends on whether you’ve connected one.
If you haven’t connected a CRM or helpdesk yet, the second number is zero and that is not a failure. The classification still happened, and when you connect one the Integrations screen offers to push those waiting emails across in a single click. Previously these cards only counted what reached the CRM, which meant a workspace with no CRM connected was shown zeros across the board, as though nothing had been done at all.
When there’s nowhere to send things
If InboxAgent classified emails but has no CRM or helpdesk to send them to, a note above the cards tells you how many and links you to connect one. Nothing is stranded either way: sales inquiries go to your Leads board and everything else that needs a person goes to Follow-ups, connected or not. See Working without integrations, Connect HubSpot, Connect Zoho CRM and Connect Zoho Desk. It is deliberately kept away from Needs Your Review: that number is a list of individual decisions only you can make, while this one is usually a single setup step, after which one click clears the whole pile. Mixing them would make your real to-do list look far worse than it is.
Recent activity
Below the cards is a peek at the ten most recent emails: who sent them, which mailbox they arrived in, the category InboxAgent chose, and the outcome. It’s a snapshot, not the full list. Click View all (or Inbox activity in the sidebar) for the complete, filterable history; see Inbox activity.
The welcome card
Until your workspace has a mailbox connected, a Getting started card sits on the Dashboard with the two setup steps (connect a mailbox; optionally connect an integration). You can dismiss it, and it hides on this browser for you personally. Everything it covers lives permanently in this Help Center: start with Quick start.
Reading the Dashboard like an operator
- Mail flowing? Total Emails should tick up during a business day if your mailboxes are busy.
- Anything stuck? A warning on Inboxes Monitored or an alert in the bell means a connection needs attention; see When a mailbox disconnects.
- Queue healthy? If Sent to Review is climbing fast and the review queue feels relentless, your routing mode may be stricter than you need.
