System logs (the audit trail)
System logs (Advanced drawer, all roles) is the per-email audit trail — one row for every message InboxAgent has processed, with the complete story behind each. When someone asks “what happened to the email from X?”, this is the definitive answer.
Finding the email
Filter by mailbox, status (Received / Processing / Completed / Skipped / Failed), or a date range, and search by sender or subject. Columns sort by time, confidence, or status — newest first by default.
The detail view
Click any row for the full record:
- The message — sender, mailbox, received time, category, confidence.
- Decisions — what was decided and why, including the reason text (a rule override, a threshold, the AI’s call).
- Actions — everything done as a result: the lead or ticket created with its external record ID, the review item queued, or the exact error if an action failed.
- A body preview of the email itself.
That external record ID is the bridge to your CRM or helpdesk — search it there to land on the exact lead or ticket an email produced.
System logs vs Inbox activity
Same underlying history, different jobs: Inbox activity is the working view — browse, spot-check, re-classify. System logs is the investigation view — dense, filterable by date range, sortable, and exportable. Start in Inbox activity day-to-day; come here when you’re reconstructing what happened.
Export
Export CSV downloads the filtered view — capped at the first 10,000 matching rows — for audits or offline analysis.
